Our chosen charity, Helen and Douglas House, arranged a wonderful two mile Santa Fun Run on the 7th December 2008, starting at Broad Street in central Oxford. We managed to arrange sponsorship of above £500 and committed 4 of our team (plus children) at Hayden Marsh to the run itself. It was jack frost cold but University Parks was incredibly crisp and serene with the ducks having to break the ice on the lakes to get a decent swim. Our thanks to everyone who sponsored us. In doing so, you gave generously to the children of Helen and Douglas House and for that, we are very thankful.
