Peter's Profile
Who are you professionally?
I work for a local housing association as a housing officer, delivering quality accommodation for older people in Oxford. I am responsible for all aspects of housing management on my patch of 300 properties, including: staff management, rents, voids and lettings, service charges, contract management, health and safety, anti-social behavior and resident involvement. My job demands a broad range of skills in problem solving, mediation, attention to detail, creative thinking, and an awareness of the needs and aspirations of older people.
What makes you tick?
Delivering an excellent service to our residents. I get a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping older people to maintain an independent and socially inclusive lifestyle.
