A Michelin starred Treat!

IMG_0739Hayden Marsh have developed some close links with the owners of Michelin starred fine dining eater The Nut Tree Inn in Murcott, Oxfordshire www.thenuttreeinn.co.uk.  The food and service are so good, we decided to reward some of the Hayden Marsh team with a special meal there (photo showing Laura, Evanthea and Zoe of HM and Mike and Imogen North of The Nut Tree). We’re also running a series of competitions for our clients, were the winners will be awarded an “En Surprise” taster meal for two at the Nut Tree. Look out for the updates on our blog.

Laura from HM Hospitality & Catering commented after her meal “the Nut Tree is warn and welcoming, a perfect environment for friends or a more intimate meal with that someone special. I had the set menu which was fab, a lovely mix of taste and textures. The apple pie was probably the best I’ve tasted and I can’t wait to go back so that if I visit often enough, I’ll make my way through the entire menu…a real treat!”

I’ve taken my wife to the Nut Tree, love the salmon biscuit slice with the salmon starter ;)

I love the food at The Nut Tree.. The service is second to none and equally the food doesn’t disapoint either. I had salmon to start followed by sea bass and then some lovely fresh seasonal fruit. An absolute gastronomic delight! Highly recommended for a midweek treat or sit down to a sumptous sunday lunch with all the trimmings.

It was my first trip to The Nut Tree but certainly won’t be my last. The entire experience was superb. Imogen has 1st class Front of House skills and made us all feel welcome throughout. I ordered from the set menu which was excellent value and absolutely delicious. The levels of service were second to none – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Nut Tree to anyone and look forward to venturing there again.

I’ve been to the Nut Tree on a few occasions and really like Sunday lunches. Charming surroundings, a nice quiet feeling of professionalism and pride in their food and service. Would recommend highly.

  5. [...] Hayden Marsh have designed their blog to promote debate and discussion on employment related topics. We’d like to raise issues, help and support those in need of it, and go some way to providing a bit of depth on career development and job hunting. So we’re inviting select individuals who can offer experience and perspective in a niche field to answer 10 questions in a section we’ve called “Your Starter For Ten (Questions)” – with an agreed theme which might be a general overview of their role for those looking to follow in their chosen path, or it might be a topical discussion relating to something on which they are qualified to pass comment. In return for their time, our guest speaker will gain the appreciation of those visiting our blog (7000 during February 2010) and we will award them with an “En Surprise” taster menu meal for two at the Michelin starred Nut Tree Inn.
